Case Study – Steve Pope

Dear Cord-Lox® Customer,

Hi, I’m Steve Pope from TFI Custom Fabrication. You may know us by the name Cord-Lox® — our brand of professional-grade cord and cable management solutions. First, I’d like to thank you for your business. I’d also like to share my personal Cord-Lox® story.

Why I chose Cord-Lox®

One of the reasons why I fell in love with this company and eventually became an owner, is because I’m also a musician who uses Cord-Lox® for gigs, rehearsals, and everything in between.

I don’t mind admitting I’m a geek when it comes to having all my cables organized and identified. And like many other musicians, I’m not a fan of wasting time at gigs looking for one of my cables or getting into disagreements with the house sound guy about who owns which cable at the end of the show.

Rehearsals are more efficient

My band’s rehearsal spot is also organized with hook & loop fasteners — most notably, SPEEDWRAP® and Cord-Lox® brand straps and cable ties. I use them to manage cables on my Roland electronic drum kit, all cords connected to our DAW, instrument patch cords, XLR cords for vocal mics and more.

Check out this video of our rehearsal studio (fancy name for a room in my basement) and our band, Silver Age.

Transitioning kids space to rehearsal space is easy

Like a lot of dads, I use our basement for the band and for the kids playroom. That means after we play, I need to unplug, bundle, band, organize and store our cables as FAST as possible. Same with setting up for the next rehearsal.

I want to setup quickly so we start playing as soon as my bandmates arrive. I couldn’t do this without these cable management solutions.

Helping others organize their cords, cables, and gear is my goal

For people like me with a rehearsal spot in your home or anywhere, managing band gear before or after shows, or if you have a video or recording studio to keep organized, we want to help you with your cable management.

Thank you for your continued support,

Steve Pope
